In 2012 Orbital Education established its second school in Moscow, the English International School, Moscow West. Moscow West is for children 3 – 12 years of age and is located in a lovely and prestigious residential area near Kutuzovskiy Prospect. The campus is a 17 minute metro ride to the heart of the city – Red Square.

We provide a family-friendly, nurturing and safe atmosphere for our students where they are encouraged to excel in all aspects of their early learning development.

Our schools have comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environments. Acceptance, care, and good home-school communication are valued. Each student is encouraged to strive for excellence and to be creative. We strive to foster strong relationships between the school, the children, their families and the community.

The teaching staff are the best, dedicated, encouraging and creative

Meet the Headteacher

Geoffrey Ward, Head of School

English International School of Moscow West is like no other school in Moscow. We have an outstanding reputation for our sense of family and community, providing unique learning opportunities for all of our pupils far beyond the ordinary. We are an exciting, vibrant and inclusive primary school with something to offer every child and every family within our dynamic and diverse community.

We recruit outstanding teaching staff, specialists in their field, who support and encourage every pupil to realise their full potential in all their endeavours. Success takes many different forms and we celebrate them all: performing onstage, sportsmanship, public speaking, leadership, community service, and forging friendships with peers from other countries and backgrounds. We also believe that everyone must learn that trying and failing is perfectly normal - we learn by making mistakes!

We hope that both existing and prospective EIS families and teachers enjoy browsing through our website and encourage families already in, or considering a move to, Moscow to get in touch with us, so that we can show you around our unique little school and discuss further what our school can offer your child.

We look forward to meeting you in person soon.

Geoffrey Ward, Head of School
